He said lets have coffee, she said ok I need a fix.
They sit there after ordering their favorite beverages waking up slowly and observing the surroundings avoiding eye contact.
She say’s what wrong? he replies what’s not? she glares at him as if surprised, he decides to pretend to fall for her trap, they start.
You don’t show me what I need to see and feel she said, well its been a year now he says and continues with “ why did you change so fast?”
I hate the way you carry yourself she said. I hate your countless makeovers. I hate it when you come from work with that look. I hate your attitude towards my friends. I hate the way you pour your perfume on you as if showering with it.
I love how your friend is so simple yet beautiful. I love how your friend treats his wife in public. I love how your friend is always smiling despite her problems. I love how your friend visits the dentist every three months and has bright teeth. I love how your friend is fit. I love how your friend looks outgoing. I love how your friends have friends.
I need to feel you. I need to believe you. I need to understand you. I need you to understand me. I need some affection. I need some space. I need to have fun with you. I need my friend back. I need more. I need less. I need your warmth. I need not feel cold around you.
We need to have more of these conversations. We need to be more open. We need to face our fears. We need to enjoy it. We need to love more. We need to laugh more. We need to be there. We need more of less and less of more. We need our company. We need to always change. We need to let go. We need to need one another.
