Mind Broadcast

She said, He said; Waiting in vain.

She; Hey there..

He; Hi, how are you? long time.

She; Yeah I know, its been a while now since I heard your voice, what have you been up-to?

He; Nothing really, just making a living and enjoying life, its been a year now you know!

She; I know, just a question I had on my mind from way back..

He; Shoot.

She; Why did you never call?

He; I remember you were going to call after that big fight we had, and I did send you messages that never came back?

She; You know how I am when I am in a bad mood.

He; Yeah and I told you it wasn’t doing us any good, was it?

She; You always have something to say, always..you never change.

He; That’s true. But you know we kept drifting apart and suddenly you were gone, I heard you did good at college, what do you do now?

She; Well I’m getting married soon, were moving away for good, he’s a businessman and is establishing something new in Europe.

He; Good for you. I have been busy too with my new kid on the block.

She; Kid? how? when?

He; Well when you left, I was a bit down for a while and there was this special person who I never paid much attention to when all I could think of was you, but when you left she kind of shined!

She; Good for you, that was fast..

He; Well you see, certain things seem to just happen, especially when you least expect it.

She; How nice of you to remember my birthday.

He; Yeah I know, I just couldn’t forget it.

She; I miss you and you know it.

He; Actually I don’t, sorry, I have a new love and life now that seems to have me fulfilled.

She; Yeah but don’t you miss our things? our old days?

He; Memories, only that, good ones. I have to go now, my wife is calling me for dinner, its our anniversary, how Ironic! anyways, take good care of yourself.

She; Wait…

He; yes..?

She; I love you. I always have, I never meant to be stubborn, I never meant to hurt you, I only felt hurt when you did what you did, I did want to call you, but it seemed that everyday I didn’t I got stronger, I hate myself for not calling you back, what can I say..? what can I do? don’t you think..

He; I have to go, bye.

She; OH! now I hate myself for actually saying it! damn!!

Time wasted in silly games fools play. If you really meant it you would have acted on it. Cut the bull and make the move while you can, if you can’t, don’t! she ain’t worth it? he doesn’t deserve it.. let go and live, otherwise, make the move.

I liked this. Its concise yet manages to deliver many critical meanings, concerning relationship in general, and in particular about their life span(s), their break-ups… problems, what makes one succeed… and another fail. I also have some observations that can bring on additional value to the said subject, but, only, if anyone’s interested to know them…

Yeah its true isn’t it? ironic but true, some see it as a way to defend their ego, others simply do not actually know the consequences of such actions.
We are interested… enlighten us will you?
