If you leave me now..
- Would it mean the end of my existence? probably not.
- Will it hurt me? probably yes.
- Does it mean I’m free, for sure.
- Who will comfort me when I need someone close to my heart? not you.
- What will I feel after it all sinks in? devastation.
- When I remember you can I call you? never.
- What about the places we enjoyed in each others company, will they still be worth visiting? for sure.
- Will I carry a grudge for years to come? not me.
- What if I bump into you after a year or two, or ten, what will I do? smile, a casual smile, a normal goodbye, continue walking.
- Will you remember me after the smoke clears? its for you to know and me to imagine.
- Would you look me up on some social network in the future? I know I will from a distance, never a stalker only an observer.
- What happens if we sit next to each other on a plane to some exotic destination? I won’t be alone, so don’t worry.
- When I walk alone at night will you appear in my think screen? not really, if you did a good job painting my world then you can rest assured I will.
- Will the tunes flowing through my earphones into my ears and onwards to my brain to enjoy mean anything without you? you bet.
- Will food taste the same without you endulging on your favorite dish? Never.
- When you come running to me in the future after he dumps you looking for a comforting arm will I receive you wholeheartedly? count on it.
- What if you see me with my new love all over me in Florence surrounded by Michael Angelos work of art while me and her feed the pigeons, will you wish it was you that loves me? I would never know, it wouldn’t matter to me anymore baby.

- remember the tears shed for you
- recall the feelings that I swore where yours alone
- live the fast drives we had when we were young and wild
- smile at the giggles
- float in those highs
- sink in those lows
- wipe the tears
- cherish the fights
- ache for the making up
- feel the hugs
- die for those strong arms I held you with
- picture the look I had when I first laid my eyes on you, will you?
