A Woman’s World

Not so far away from today I woke up that day after a nice long refreshing sleep on a weekend and was getting ready to go to work, it was around 6.45 am. I slowly get out of my bed, head to the shower, shave and brush my teeth. I leave the toilet fresh as ever with that new caribe shower gel summer smell. Spray on some morning fragrance to spice up my day, get dressed, and I’m off.
As I leave my house, I can’t seem to find my car keys? I start to panic, as I want to pass by my coffee shop for a turkish coffee, little sugar, that’s how i like it. I go down to check the keys on my car, and to my surprise a driver opens the back door of my car, I am stunned? why is there a driver waiting for me? I can’t seem to remember having one? I get carried away and jump in the back, still in total disbelief.
As I leave the garage and the driver gets closer to the main road I am starting to doubt if I ever left the bed? To my left and right I see more men in the back seat of their cars, must be the economy I think.
Suddenly, I spot a strange sight and actually squint my eyes, A woman in the drivers seat! Driving a black porsche, she looks at me in a strange way, as if she is checking me out with her shades. She speeds off into the traffic leaving me baffled in disbelief. OK that must be one crazy girl I say to myself. At that moment I spot another family sedan with another girl driving, and another, they are everywhere. Everywhere I look I see more lady drivers on the roads.
What happened last night? Did they let the girls drive? OK I say to myself, good stuff. Suddenly I see two girls racing in sports cars doing at least 200KMH on the road, load music and tail pipes, the works. We stop at the traffic light and I can’t help the lady drivers staring at me in the back of my car and smiling? A girl, gets out of her sports car and comes my way, signals me to open my window, I obey in shock, she hands me a piece of paper with her number written in pink lipstick! Wow! what a way to start my day.
I enter my work and I find all these men coming out of their cars, back seat, and entering the building. So many ladies parking their cars I lost count.
I run into the building to tell my friends and GOSSIP a bit about what is happening. I am running to my area at work and I see hundreds of ladies working away, my area is full of ladies looking at me in an uncomfortable way. Is this paradise?
A senior lady officer comes my way and tells me I am in a ladies only section, your section is the small area down stairs with “MEN ONLY” written on it. I run down and open the door, and all I see are men crowding the room, and I had to close the door.
It appears to be a major transformation @ work. Not, really says one of the guys, its a Woman’s world now.
I fall down on a chair and stair at him demanding more information, he goes on and on,never stopping. We end the conversation 3 hours later, it has happened over night like some magical spell, woman has taken over the world, and we are what they were last night.
I never get over it and take permission to make some errands outside the Bank.I grab the newspaper on my way out, get into the car and ask him to take me to the mall I need to get some things for my flight to London tomorrow. I get to the mall and it is packed with ladies, and a few men looking paranoid. I witness 3 girls cornering a man and demanding he takes their number, he refuses and moves on, they follow, in his pursuit. I run into the shop and ask for my size in a certain suit, a lady brings the suit and starts to measure me down.
The cashiers are ladies, the managers are ladies, the other stores are all girls and ladies. I take a quick glimpse of the paper and the Billionaires top 10 are 90% females! the next day I get to the airport and I can’t seem to be able to travel, i need my sister to accompany me.
Here is what else I witness & read:
- Girls are flying the plane.
- Stewards are 90% handsome young men.
- The girls on the plane will not leave us men alone, we are basically being harassed.
- I strike a conversation with the guy next to me, he is complaining about not being able to drive in Saudi Arabia and his driver has dumped him.
- He is complaining that his wife is not giving him his children after the divorce.
- I open my briefcase and find 20 or more telephone numbers with girls names on them.
- The girl next to me has not taken her eyes off me and made me uncomfortable for most of the flight, as if she is watching over me.
- The news is talking about the raise of the increase of male rape & abuse in the last few years.
- The news is talking about the 50% of the population( men) not finding challenging jobs.
- The news has pictures of famous business women and mega billion deals.
- The news is talking about the fact that men can soon stay in a hotel without a female companion relative.
- The news talks about men starting to play football and basketball nationally.
- They will soon let men into football stadiums to watch games like females.
- Finally a woman was accused of racism in work, favoring females over men.
- Three men were caught driving on one of the major roads in Jeddah.
I suddenly started to pray that I treated them well when we were masters of the game. I started to think about other things like pay scale and opportunities, options and what lay ahead?
My salary was at least a quarter of what ladies were making across the business sector based on a survey conducted by a rising column writer in a major newspaper named Mamdooh something.
What I would give to get a glimpse of the faces of the 50% male population that once had it there way. Will the lady world treat us the same? or will they consider our importance? Will they treat us equally? or will they repeat what did or worse yet perfect it? Why don’t I just wake up and smell the coffee?
If 50% of the population produces in capacity, products, services, technologies, teaching, nursing, healing, constructions and everything else 100 units of everything. What would be the final outcome when the other 50% joins the first bunch?
Looks like things are gonna work out fine for my young 6 year old daughter soon :-)
Another brick in the wall Option Trading
Women & men, will they ever be the same? Sure no.
But thank you Mamdoh you are so right. They are exactly the same in many aspects, so society should treat them equally. Why on earth we prevent women from driving, voting, working, traveling ….??!!
Anyways with rational guys like you things will turn right one day or another.
